Lady Jane Mango Plant (Mangifera indica) is a premium Australian mango variety developed in the Northern Territory and officially granted Australian Plant Breeder’s Rights in 2013. It was selected from a cross involving Irwin and R2E2 and is known for its attractive bright red blush, rich sweet flavour, firm completely fibreless flesh, fine juicy texture and excellent shelf life. The average fruit weighs around 400 grams, and the variety is valued for its early harvesting, attractive appearance and high fruit quality. Lady Jane is an excellent choice for exotic mango collectors, home gardens and large-container or terrace cultivation in suitable warm climates.
