The Pusa Pitambar Mango is an excellent hybrid mango variety developed by ICAR-IARI (Indian Agricultural Research Institute), New Delhi in 2012 by crossing Amrapali × Lal Sundari. This premium mango variety is highly appreciated for its fiberless pulp, rich sweetness, attractive color, and regular bearing habit.
The fruits develop an attractive apricot-yellow color with light red blush on the shoulders, making them visually beautiful and highly marketable. The pulp is smooth, juicy, aromatic, and extremely delicious with a balanced sweet flavor and mild acidity.
